A French Christmas Market at The High School Dublin

On 8 December, Form 4 French pupils held a Festive French Christmas Market at The High School. With rows of stalls, balloons and tinsel, the Reynolds Hall was transformed into a Winter Wonderland. We set up our stalls of food, drinks, sweets and games to sell at Junior and Senior breaks. It was difficult to tell if the milkshakes, pizzas or pancakes were
most popular.  Pupils were certainly spoilt for choice. Some people set up arcade games and people played to win sweets or guessed how many sweets were in a jar.   All of the buying and selling was done through French and the stalls
and food were French-themed. We raised over €400 which is going to Focus Ireland. Thank you to our French teachers, Ms Roulett, Mrs Ennis and Ms Lally, who made it all possible.  It was such a success, we hope that we have begun a new tradition which will continue next year; we are looking forward to it already. Joyeux Noël!
